Crafted from a sheet of silver using hammers and chisel-like tools, this sterling silver owl cuff bracelet features intricate chase and repousse’ designs. Copper inlays the frame the owl’s face, accentuating the striking intensity of its eyes. Accents of 24KT gold bring the owl to life, applied through the Keum Boo technique, where a thin sheet of pure gold is fused to the silver with heat and pressure - mechanical gilding - to produce a permanent diffusion bond. A 14-gauge sterling silver square wire is soldered along the cuff’s inner edge to help maintain its shape and make it easy to slip on comfortably. The cuff measures 1.6 inches wide at the center with the wings tapering to 7/8 inches wide on each side. The cuff bracelet has a 6¾ circumference, it comfortably fits a 6¼ wrist size.
